Mateo Sobode Chiquenoi, an Ayoreo Indian, lived free without any contacts with civilization, until he was forced to leave the woods for dusty and isolated settlements on the edge of nowhere. Mateo is getting old and with the help of the film crew, he decides to find the last living Ayoreo in the immense and desolate Paraguayan Chaco, who can help him reconstruct the memories of his real home which was taken away from him.
